Touring Edition Exhaust: Blending refinement and aggression, the Touring Edition Exhaust offers a 3” T304L stainless steel downpipe-back setup. Crafted for those seeking straight-pipe performance, a sophisticated deep exhaust tone, and zero highway drone, the Touring Edition is a versatile choice.
Comprising an integrated front pipe, robust midpipe resonator, and thick-walled T304L stainless steel, the Touring Edition also incorporates AWE’s FL5-specific 180 Technology® in the rear. This configuration caters to everyday driving needs, expertly containing sound to the rear of the vehicle and eliminating drone that might infiltrate the cabin during highway speeds. The design seamlessly fits beneath the bumper's undertray.
The Touring Edition, along with AWE’s 180 Technology®, was engineered for compatibility with both stock and aftermarket catted downpipes, ensuring an ideal tone and performance balance.
Track Edition Exhaust: Catering to enthusiasts who prefer an intense and dynamic experience, the Track Edition is a raw and energetic choice. Sharing similarities with the Touring Edition in terms of integrated front pipe, robust midpipe resonator, and precision engineering, the Track Edition sets itself apart by omitting AWE’s drone-canceling 180 Technology® resonator in the rear.
Instead of the 180 Technology® resonator, the Track Edition houses a straight section in the rear, resulting in a more spirited mid-range acceleration/deceleration and cruising sound profile. It's worth noting that this version can be quite aggressive and may be deemed excessive for some, especially when paired with a downpipe.
Conversion Kits: Switching between Track and Touring Editions is made convenient through available conversion kits, offering flexibility to adjust your exhaust's interior volume at a later time.
Tip Options: Each exhaust package includes three 4.5” double-walled, slash-cut tips, available in chrome silver or diamond black finish. These tips carry a stamped AWE logo and can be individually adjusted, allowing for personalized depth alignment with the bumper.
Package Contents: The AWE Touring or Track Edition Catback Exhaust package includes a complete set of components: the exhaust system, gasket, dust cover for the factory valve plug, three 4.5” slash-cut double-walled tips in your chosen finish, and all the necessary installation hardware.
